Verdict
Each episode of the thriller anthology series Victim is crafted by a different director, maintaining the interest of viewers the entire time. The fantasy thriller Kottai Pakku Vathalum Mottai Maadi Sitharum, which has fantastical aspects as well as excellent acting, is the best of Chimbudevan’s four thrilling stories. Other episodes of the show contain heartwarming scenes that will drive viewers to watch all the way through. The M Rajesh-directed episode, which features a shoddy narration and a shoddy narrative, is the only negative.
There are also heartwarming moments in the series that will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. The directors did a great job incorporating just the perfect amount of drama while staying true to the original native stories.
The actors in the show gave excellent performances in each of their individual episodes. Nasser’s background and experience are evident throughout the episodes. Thambi Ramaiah, known for his comedic timing, occasionally amuses us and captivates us with his portrayal. Amala Paul, Prasanna, Priya Bavani Shankar, and Kalaiarasan all provide outstanding performances after a protracted absence from the big screen. Every other member of the cast had excellent performances as well.
This show has a respectable visual aesthetic. Compromises and financial restrictions can be noticed in a few scenes spread across several episodes. The soundtrack, which was created by a variety of musicians, complements the episodes nicely. The directors of photography did a superb job of emphasizing the birth of Jesus with simple compositions. An excellent collection of thrillers is the product of the strong work put in by the directors.
Last but not least, Victim is a thrilling and terrifying collection of thrillers that is currently available on several digital platforms.
