Ilayaraja
As one of India’s most illustrious musicians, Ilayaraja is a living legend. With Melody he became renowned. Ilayaraja earned the title of Musical Maestro and a slew of other honors throughout his career. In the 1970s, he began creating music for Tamil films as a native of the state of Tamilnadu. Over the course of his career, he penned over 7000 songs.
Devi Sri Prasad
DSP, better known as Devi Sri Prasad, is a popular musician in the Indian film industry. Most of the music for big Telugu films comes from him. In 1997, he composed eight tracks for the album Dance Party, which launched his career. 100 pictures were made during the course of his career, which spanned two decades. In Telugu states, no club would be complete without playing one of his songs.
MM. Keeravani
In Telugu cinema, composer Koduri Marakathamani Keeravani is the most popular. By now, everyone in the Telugu community will know his name. Mani Sharma, better known as Swara Brahma, is a well-known Telugu music composer. Yanamandra Venkata Subramanya Sharma is his real name, and he was born in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, in 1975. As a composer, he has won several southern Filmfare awards since 1992.
Mickey J. Mayer
Happy days was Mickey J. Mayers’ first big box office hit. Thaman is now Telugu cinema’s most prominent music director. He also sings in the background. He began studying music at the age of 19 under the guidance of S.P. Balasubramaniam and G. Anand. Thaman’s debut as a supporting musician began with Bhairava dhweepam in 1994. After then, he had hits like Kick (2009) and Vakeel Saab (2012), among others (2021).
RP. Patnaik
It was with Neekosam that Telugu music director RP Patnaik made his debut as a composer and conductor of music (1999). When he first entered the film industry, he wanted to be a filmmaker. Nuvvu Nenu’s top music director in 2001. Patnaik was also an accomplished singer, having performed in excess of 300 songs over his career.
A.R. Rehman
As far as music directors go, Rehaman is the best of the best. Rehman, who was born in 1967, began his career writing jingles for advertisements for watch brands. In his 28-year career, Rehman composed the music for more than 145 films in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
