Vijay and had a middling box office performance.
After that, she appeared alongside Dhanush in Maari 2, the Maari sequel directed by Balaji Mohan. A song from the film Rowdy Baby is the most watched song in South India on YouTube. After beginning filming in February 2018, the movie Padi Padi Leche Manasu, in which Pallavi and Sharwanand co-starred, was released to mixed reviews in theatres. After their successful collaboration in MCA, she collaborated with Sekhar Kammula once more in 2021 for the romantic drama Love Story, co-starring with Naga Chaitanya and Shyam Singa Roy (across from Nani) (2017). She plays Gargi alongside Rana Daggubati in the recently released movie Virata Parvam.
