Movie Verdict
Because of this, the events in Love Today will be relatable to all contemporary young people. Since the humor is built on the same concept that people in relationships may conceal many things from their spouses, viewers may be able to identify with the characters and situations on screen. Even without customary humorous parts, the movie’s last few emotional sections worked well. This movie contains both thought-provoking and overly sentimental moments. However, this movie never becomes boring throughout.
Although Pradeep Rnganathan’s acting was good, he frequently comes off as copying other actors (such as Dhanush and Prabhu Deva) in the movie. Ivana’s acting was effortless, and she looked lovely on screen. In certain situations, Sathyaraj comes out as exaggerated, yet he does it well in others. Yogi Babu and Raveena Ravi still managed to delight with their actions despite not having as much of the spotlight to shine in. As the hero’s mother in a few episodes, Radhika Sarathkumar also made viewers chuckle. The remaining members of the cast also performed a wonderful job.
The production values of the movie Love Today are acceptable. Songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja were composed for the movie, although they don’t quite live up to expectations. There ought to be background music playing. The cinematography is enhanced by Dinesh Purushothaman’s excellent work behind the camera and the limited scope of the film. Pradeep E. Ragav performs a fantastic job of removing any extraneous sequences. For this story, the production values are appropriate.
The film’s director, Pradeep Ranganathan, is successful in creating a work that will appeal to a variety of today’s young people. A handful of the comedy scenes in the movie seem to have been taken directly from Instagram. Pradeep has succeeded whereas others have failed in fusing sentiment and humor into a widely applicable theme.
In conclusion, Love Today is a romantic drama that is a lot of pleasure to see with friends at the theatre.
Plus Points:
- Comedy
- Relatable scenes
Minus Points:
- Telugu Dubbing (for a few characters)
