Movie Verdict
Although the tale is not original, the design of the characters gives you a novel experience. The movie begins off effectively by introducing all the major characters at the beginning and drawing you into the film and making you part of it. Though the second half briefly enters a serious tone and the serious narrative causes you to lose your smile, the climax still makes you laugh. However, the first half featured entertaining comedic parts.
Farida as Vasuda had a great opportunity to prove herself, and she did so with ease. She also has good comic timing. Sudharshan, Bramhaji, Sapthagiri are generated fun as per the story requires, and the rest of the cast did well. Santhosh Shoban as Viplav killed it, even though in a few scenes his performance looks regular.
Although there are issues in the second half, Merlapaka Gandhi succeeded in creating an entertaining comedy with his debut picture, Venkatadri Express. Later, he made a few other films but didn’t find popularity. However, it appears that with Like, Share, and Subscribe, he will.
Technically, Praveen Lakkaraju is one of the most underrated composers as he provided the best music for Merlapaka Gandhi’s films like Express Raja, which was one of the successful albums, but Like Share and Subscribe songs didn’t register at all and BGM also not up to the mark. The cinematography in Like Share and Subscribe is good but could have been better, and A Vasanth’s cinematography is only partially good.
Overall, Like Share and Subscribe is a good comic action show that will appeal to all audiences.
