Kunchacko Boban Upcoming Movies: Kunchacko Boban released three films this year. His past films include “Pada” and “Nna Than Case Kodu,” and his most recent film, “Ottu,” was recently released and is performing well in Malayalam theatres. However, the Tamil version of Ottu, entitled “Rendagam,” has yet to be released and is set to do so on September 23.
Kunchacko made his acting debut alongside Shalini in Fazil’s 1997 Malayalam musical-romance Aniyathipravu. Kunchacko rose to popularity almost immediately after the film’s success. As a result of the commercial success of his first film, he was cast in subsequent films such as Nakshathratharattu, Mayilpeelokkavu, and Niram, one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of 1999. Fazil also directed the film Harikrishnans, in which the actor made a cameo appearance.
Kunchacko took a break from acting after a run of dud films such as Ingane Oru Nilapakshi, Prem Poojari, and Sahayathrikakku Snehapoorvam. The actor married during his absence, and he wasn’t seen on TV again until 2008, when he made a cameo in a song for Shafi’s LollyPop. But he returned to the forefront with V. K. Prakash’s critically acclaimed and financially successful criminal comedy Gulumaal: The Escape. Following the success of this film, he went on to direct several other financially successful films, including Mummy & Me, Sakudumbam Shyamala, Traffic, 3 Kings and Sevenes, and Doctor Love. At the 2011 Asianet Film Awards, the actor was named Youth Icon of the Year.
