Verdict
You might notice some similarities between certain sequences and those in the original franchise because of the narration and overall flow of the new film. However, the movie’s premise is intriguing, and the addition of mystery and fantasy components to the plot keeps us interested until the very end. The movie’s intermission section has several intriguing turns, and the second half keeps the tension high until the end. The movie had a satisfactory ending with a clear explanation.
According to the performances, Nikhil once more dazzles the audience with his portrayal of Karthikeya, a character who is constantly looking for solutions to unanswered problems. Anupama Parameswaran performed admirably in the part. Despite Anupam Kher’s talent, the dubbing voice doesn’t seem to fit the actor. Aditya Menon is impressive in a bad part, while Srinivasa Reddy’s comic timing in a couple situations will make you smile. Every other actor performed their duties in accordance with the situation.
Other than a few VFX images, Karthikeya 2 looks fantastic technically. Although the music by Kaala Bhairava is passable, the movie’s background score is superb. In terms of his aesthetics, Karthik Gattamneni never fails to wow, and this film is no exception, boasting some breath-taking sights, particularly in the Kashmir-set portions. The editing was clear.
Chandoo Mondeti, whose previous film Savyasachi failed to make an impression, appears to have found his directing mojo again.
Karthikeya 2 is a fantastic sequel that should only be seen in theatres because of its outstanding production and graphics.
