Movie Verdict

Suma Kanakaala is known for her hyperactive anchoring, but Jayamma’s character is the polar opposite; first and foremost, we should thank director Vijay Kumar Kalivarapu for casting her in such a calm and composed role.
The film is set in a village, and it gets off to a good start with the director taking his time to establish all of the characters. Because the characters and the story are so relatable, many people believe it is taking place in our village, the audience will be engaged throughout the film. The comedy and rural emotions worked well together.
The conflict in Jayamma Panchayathi isn’t particularly exciting; it appears to be very simple, but it is linked to her husband’s illness. However, the conflict could have been better. The first half is good, with some lovely comedy and Village Council scenes, but the second half is emotional and feels overstretched.
Jayamma is the star of the show when it comes to performances. Suma Kanakala’s portrayal of Jayamma was flawless; being a naturally active person, she effortlessly embodied Jayamma’s character. Devi Prasad was excellent in the role of Jayamma’s husband, and the rest of the cast did an excellent job as well.
In terms of technicalities, debut director Vijay Kumar Kalivarapu’s writing appears to be very mature, as he handled the film admirably and managed to captivate the audience. More than directing, he has written a good story, as Jayamma Panchayithi is not only about Jayamma’s life, but also about cast issues and so-called elders’ honor issues. The layers, however, did not blend well.
Because the film was made on a shoestring budget, Anush Kumar’s cinematography is quite good, and his visuals make the film look rich and quality. The legendary music director M.M Keeravaani is one of the film’s major highlights; he can do any genre and leave his mark with his music, and he provided a wonderful background score for Jayamma Panchayathi. and the rest of the departments performed admirably in terms of the film requirement
Finally, Jayamma Panchaythi is a must-see film; go in with no expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised.
