Movie Verdict

The days of commercial movies are over; nowadays, viewers want to watch films with interesting and unique plots. However, some filmmakers still force viewers to watch their commercial movies. This is why Gaalodu is criticised as an outdated commercial movie with no compelling reason to watch it. The movie begins with a routine protagonist introduction followed by a mass beat that sums up the hero’s personality inside and out.

It’s difficult to watch the second half of Gaalodu because of the routine scenes, plodding screenplay, and underwhelming performances. Aside from the heroine glamour and a few comedy scenes, the film failed to hold the audience’s attention. The first half of the movie contains some Sudheer mark comedy blocks, and a few other comedians also tried their best to make us laugh. Sadly, it doesn’t work out.

If he wants to do more films as a hero, it would be better for him to choose comedies. Gehna Sippy has no scope but she is impressed with her glamour for while she is breathing for the movie. Shakalaka Shankar and the rest of the cast are just okay. Sudheer as Raju is just okay because we have seen him do comedy but suddenly when he is doing unbelievable action sequences on screen it’s hard to digest and it doesn’t suit him.

Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla tried to make a boring story into a fascinating movie, but he absolutely failed; instead, he ought to create original tales.

Technically, Gaalodu is alright; nevertheless, Bheems Ceciroleo’s songs are not up to par, and Ramprasad’s background score is similarly ordinary. Ramprasad’s photography uses excessive lighting and overly saturated colors, just as in regular commercial movies.

Gaalodu is, all things considered, a dated commercial movie, yet if you like Sudigali Sudheer, you might want to check it out.

Plus Points:

  • Few Comedy Scenes

Minus Points:

  • Story
  • Screenplay
  • Music
  • Lack of Emotion

Rating: 2/5
