Asif Ali Upcoming Movies: Asif Ali, who has a history of appearing in 13 films in a single year, has four films coming out this year: “Innale Vare,” “Kuttavum Shikshayum,” “Mahaveeryar,” and “Kotthu.” In contrast to Innale Vare, which garnered a mixed reception from viewers, Mahaveeryar and Nivin Pauly have been favourably accepted by reviewers and audiences alike.
Asif made his acting debut in the 2009 Shyamaprasad-directed film Ritu, alongside two other actors; their combined efforts got favourable reviews. His second film was the 2010 Malayalam box office smash Kadha Thudarunnu, directed by Sathyan Anthikad and featuring him opposite Mamata Mohandas and Jayaram. Apoorvaragam, a Malayalam thriller, was also released in 2010. Despite the film’s dismal box office performance, Asif was named Best Villain at the Asianet Film Awards. Best of Luck, a Malayalam remake of the Bollywood comedy All the Best: Fun Begins, was released the same year, however unlike the original, the reviews for the Malayalam version were entirely negative.
He achieved financial and critical success with the 2011 release of Traffic, a Malayalam thriller in which he co-starred with three other protagonists. Following the success of the films, local versions were made, first in 2013 with Chennaiyil Oru Naal in Tamil, and then in May 2016 with Traffic in Hindi. Another box office triumph for him that year was the romantic comedy Salt N’ Pepper, which is about two different couples. His 2011 film, Ithu Nammude Katha, earned great reviews but underperformed at the box office.
In 2012, Asif appeared in a total of 13 films. Despite the fact that his previous film, Asuravithu, was a critical and financial fiasco, he was nominated for Best Actor in a Negative Role at the 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards for his portrayal of Aloshy in Sibi Malayil’s Unnam. However, Asif’s box office results in the years that followed were less than stellar. Only Saju Surendran’s Husbands of Goa, one of his films that received mostly negative reviews, was a commercial success.

Asif Ali is currently working on a number of projects that will be launched in 2022 or 2023. A Netflix anthology series starring him will premiere at the end of this year, in 2022. In 2023, he will work on the film “Kishkindha Kandam” for the first time with national award-winning actress Aparna Balamurali.
