Movie Verdict
Nani has created his own style of acting, whether it is a comedy or action film, we see a uniqueness. As he is known for comedy films, people have owned him and made him a natural star, but as an actor, he tried some action films like ‘V’ and Tuck Jagadish, but those were average. Now he is back with his own template with this film called Ante Sundaraniki, talking about the movie, I must say simply superb, as we haven’t
There have been numerous films set in the backdrop of intercaste marriages, but all of them have dealt with it seriously. Ante Sundaraniki, on the other hand, deals with it in a lighthearted manner, and most significantly, this intercaste marriage is a subplot, and the primary narrative will blow your mind.
The first half was filled with lovely comedy, and the second half remained in that vein, but the pre-climax turns to an emotional aspect, as the viewer will be startled, and the climax is also nice, but might have been better.
Nani as Sundar Prasad is simply brilliant; there’s nothing to say about his performance because he justifies his character in every film, and in Ante Sundaraniki as a traditional brahmin boy, he is just perfect; another brilliant character is Leela Thomas, Nazriya’s debut Telugu film, as she is known for her cute expressions, which we can see in this film as well; interestingly, she gave her own voice for Leela character; and Naresh as
The vessel’s captain Since we can see in his works, Vivek Athreya is a wonderful writer in the Telugu Film Industry, as his writings always portray Telugu and its traditions, from Mental Madilo to today’s Ante Sundaraniki. However, in Ante Sundaraniki, he has created amazing charters since it is difficult to write all of the characters who are so vital to the picture, and he deals with a sensitive theme so brilliantly without being wounded.
Ante Sundaraniki looks great technically because Niketh Bommi’s cinematography is the film’s major asset; we can see two different visuals, Sundar’s world looks so warm and Leela’s world looks so bright, and the film’s colour pallet is unlike any other, and Vivek Sagar’s music has a different tone because he always uses unique instruments, and like all Vivek Athreya films, he gave brilliant music, and Ante Sundaraniki is
Finally, Ante Sundaraniki brings you humour, and comedy. Go and laugh in the theatres.
