YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu is one of the most active political leaders in the Telugu states. He is well-known for his role as moderator of televised debates and for discussing political issues with the American People’s Party. After graduating, he began his work as an advocate. Later, he joined the Indian National Congress party and was elected to the state legislature as an MLA as a result of his political aspirations. He has been elected as an MLA twice so far.

First elected in 1989, and then defeated three times till his last election in 2018. As a candidate in the 2019 general elections, he defeated the incumbent TDP MLA “Kodela Siva Prasad Rao” in the Sattenappli constituency.
