Acharya Movie Review: The Telugu Film Industry has been eagerly awaiting this film. For the first time, Acharya, Chiranjeevi, and Ramcharan have appeared together in a full-length film, and the film’s premiere today, April 29, 2022, in theatres has sparked a frenzy among fans. The picture, on the other hand, has received good reviews and feedback from critics all over the world. Despite all of this, let’s see if Acharya is worth seeing in this review, or if it’s a waste of time.
Sri Ramcharan is the protagonist in Acharya’s narrative, which follows Siddha (Ramcharan) of Dharmastali, who was raised in Dharmastali Gurukulam and has a deep belief in the Dharma of Dharma. Neelambari, on the other hand, has a romantic desire for him (Pooja Hegde), However, Siddha departs Dharmastali for various reasons, and soon after, the people of Dharmastali begin to experience issues from the vicious individual. This is where Acharya steps in to save the day, and they are saved by Acharya. What happened to Siddha, towards the end? What was Siddha’s relationship to Acharya? To get the answers to these questions, you’ll have to see the film.

Both Chiranjeevi and Ramcharan are featured in this film The film’s USP (Unique Selling Point) is the presence of these two personalities on screen for the first time as full-fledged characters. Fanatics flock to the movies solely to see their favorite actors and actresses on the big screen, regardless of the plot.
However, despite the stellar ensemble, Koratala Siva presented a well-written narrative that had all the commercial aspects. Mahesh Babu’s voice-over introduces Acharya, but the rest of the movie follows a typical commercial formula, with a hero introduction, a love scene, a song, and an interval bang. Even if their routes are different, their goal is the same, and their meeting place in the bush is a brilliant sequence in this film, which shows the Koratala Siva mark writing, even though they are on opposite paths.
Because of Ramcharan’s outstanding performance in RRR, we had high hopes for him as Siddha. However, if we hold our hopes too high, he may disappoint us. And Chiranjeevi’s portrayal of Acharya as swagger and style never goes out of style, and he looks fantastic in the role. Neelambari, played by Pooja Hegde, has no role other than that of Sidhha’s love interest. And the rest of the cast also performed great..
Koratala Siva, a Telugu cinema director, is one of the hottest mass directors in the industry. It’s not easy to make socially conscious movies in the commercial format, but he mastered it. However, Acharya is not a message-driven film and it is not the Koratala Siva type of film, he presented himself as a new version, he managed both stars quite well, but it is not a message-oriented film. He managed both stars quite well, but it is not a film about social issues.
I think Suresh Selvarajan is the real hero of Acharya because he created a world called Dharmastali with huge temple sets, the cinematography was impressive, the use of color tone and lighting was brilliant, Manisharma’s music is not up to the mark except Bale Bale Banjara, but he showed his mark in the background score, Ram Laxman’s fights and his Background score worked well on the screen.
Finally, Chiranjeevi and Ramcharan’s on-screen chemistry makes Acharya a must-see.
