We’ve seen a lot of movies with Cast, and honor killing, and this one is in the same category. The movie doesn’t have a new story at all, but the rural setting and love story might make the movie more interesting to people.
During the movie’s promotion, the makers said that this movie will definitely connect with you, but this isn’t for everyone. The movie starts off well and the love scenes were well made, but the movie’s background didn’t work well.
Gagan Vihari has done a good job as Suri. The heroine, Aparna Devi, is from Kerala, but she did a good job as a Nagamalli with a Telangana dialect. The rest of the cast is just fine.
Director Jagath didn’t do very well because the story itself isn’t new, but he did a good job with the love scenes he made.
Krishna Prasad used over-saturated colors in his film, which did not look good at all. The movie was set in a village. A lot of the scenes in the movie are helped by background music played by Osho Venkat. His music is the heart of the movie.
Finally, 1996 Dharmapuri is a one-time movie. For people who like movies with a lot of pakka commercial elements in them, this is the movie for them.
